Each property has a dedicated detail page with a comprehensive financial dashboard, rate history, event timeline, and document management.
Each property has a dedicated detail page with a financial dashboard at the top. This dashboard provides a snapshot of the property's key financial metrics:
The dashboard updates automatically when you edit property details or add new rate history entries.
The rate history section tracks changes to key financial values over time. This includes:
Each entry records the new value and the date it took effect, giving you a complete historical record. To learn more about adding rate history entries, see Editing a Property.
The event timeline provides a chronological view of everything that has happened with your property — rate changes, expense additions, document uploads, and value updates. It's a handy way to see the full history of a property at a glance.
Events are displayed in reverse chronological order (newest first) so you can quickly see recent activity.
The documents tab on the property detail page lets you view and manage all documents attached to the property — contracts, inspection reports, insurance policies, and more. You can upload new documents directly from this tab.
For full details on document management, see the Documents documentation.
The Depreciation Schedule button on the property detail page opens a modal where you can manage your property's tax depreciation deductions. This covers both Division 43 (capital works — the building structure) and Division 40 (plant and equipment — removable assets like carpets, blinds, and appliances).
You can set up your depreciation schedule in two ways:
Once set up, PropZy calculates your annual deductions for the current financial year and shows a 10-year projection. Depreciation figures are also included in your tax summaries and available to the AI chat assistant.
The uploaded PDF is automatically saved to your property's Documents tab for future reference.
PropZy automatically fetches a Google Street View image for each property based on its address. This image is displayed on the property detail page and in the card layout on the portfolio page.
Street view images are cached so they load quickly on subsequent visits. If a street view image isn't available for a particular address, a placeholder image is shown instead.
