When you first log in to PropZy after signing up, the onboarding wizard walks you through adding your first investment property step by step.
The wizard collects the essential details PropZy needs to start tracking your property's financial performance. You can always edit or add more details later.
If you'd prefer to explore the app first, you can skip the wizard and add a property manually at any time from the Portfolio section.
Whether you're using the onboarding wizard or adding a property later, the process follows the same steps:
Start typing your property address and PropZy will suggest matching Australian addresses. Select the correct address from the suggestions to auto-fill the location details.
Enter the core details about your property — property type (house, unit, townhouse, etc.), number of bedrooms and bathrooms, purchase price, and purchase date. These details help PropZy calculate your portfolio metrics.
If you have a mortgage on the property, enter your loan amount, interest rate, and loan type (principal & interest or interest only). PropZy uses this to calculate your repayments and track your equity position over time.
If your property is tenanted, enter the weekly or monthly rental income. This feeds into your cash flow calculations and helps PropZy determine your rental yield.
Once your property is saved, you'll see it on your portfolio dashboard with a summary of key metrics. From there you can:
