Cash flow narratives are AI-generated plain-language summaries of your property cash flow data. Instead of interpreting charts and numbers yourself, the AI reads your income and expense data and writes a clear summary explaining what's happening with your cash flow.

How It Works

When you view the cash flow report for a property, the AI analyses the income and expense data for the selected financial year and generates a narrative summary. This summary covers:

• Overall cash flow position — whether the property is cash flow positive or negative
• Key income and expense drivers — what's contributing most to the bottom line
• Trends compared to previous periods — whether cash flow is improving or declining
• Notable changes — significant expense increases, rental adjustments, or one-off costs

Reading the Narrative

The narrative appears alongside the standard cash flow charts and tables. It's written in everyday language so you can quickly understand the financial picture without needing to analyse each line item.

For example, instead of scanning a table of monthly figures, the narrative might tell you: "Your rental income covered all expenses this quarter with a healthy surplus, though insurance costs increased compared to last year."
